"Switched from an older software and love this" Posted 2021-01-02
Pros: Easy to use.
Large library of windows, doors and objects.
You can customise different roof types.
Can render even shadows depending on time of the day! (wow)
Great furniture library, you can also import tons from the 3D Warehouse free library.
You car draw floor plans in 3D mode or 2D mode which is very useful for visualising what you're getting.Cons: The 3D printing function is only available on the professional version.
I wish they had the option to pay monthly instead of a large chunk upfront, which is risky, but worked out for me, as I love the CAD Cabin floor planner.Overall: Great software.

"CAD Cabin is an excellent software provider with great support" Posted 2020-12-31
Pros: Fantastic product range.
I have purchased the 3D Floor Planner Expert version, I managed to get started within minutes. It took me 5 minutes to draw the complete layout for my home, and additional 30 minutes to add all the details.
Easy to use.
Instant download.
Fantastic documentation.
Friendly customer service.Cons: The floor planner doesn't connect to Microsoft Project Manager software.
I understand this is not very common in non-professional software ranges but bare that in mind if you need to hook it up to Microsoft Project Manager.
AutoCAD and Rev provide this function, but obviously, they cost at least $2000 to buy, in comparison to the $200 I paid.Overall: 100% recommended. They even have a YouTube channel with many detailed tutorials and examples. I am very happy with my purchase and plan to upgrade to the Arcon Evo version soon. Thanks.

"Super easy to use and best floor planner software" Posted 2020-09-28
Pros: Build my dream Japanese home using the Ultimate version of CAD Cabin's House Floor Plan software.
As my design was complex, there were a few sections that had to spend more time on, but there was nothing the app couldn't do.
When I passed the drawings to an architect, he thought was drawn by a professional Architect :DCons: Obviously I am NOT an Architect, and the software is not as detailed as AutoCAD / Solidworks...
BUT it's 1/100th easier than these complex software, and doesn't need years of practice. So there were some parts of the design that had to get modified in Autocad, BUT because my design was VERY COMPLEX.
For a standard home, this is more than enoughOverall: This software can save you a lot of time and money, by drafting different ideas rapidly. You can even submit your plans to the authorities using their software if you know the regulations. (They also have UK building regulation plugin which I didn't need, as my house was in Japan)

Also, if you are hiring an Architect (Which I advise you do at least for a review session), you can save a lot of time and money by doing the basics yourselves, or drawing idea drafts yourself, and have the Architect do the more complex stuff. -

"Easy to Use and Powerful" Posted 2019-11-28
Pros: The tools and interface are very easy to navigate. Complete and detailed plans are also available and built-in. Saves so much time with simultaneous 2d and 3d design. Tools are all complete in order to complete a floor plan and details.
Very good support.Cons: Needs to export 3d model to other software for a more photorealistic output. But otherwise, presentable 3d view in the software.
Overall: Overall, one of the easiest to use program. Can be used at any difficulty level, with professional looking output.
