PHP Desktop is an open-source project founded by Czarek Tomczak in 2012 to provide a way for developing native desktop GUI applications using web technologies such as PHP, HTML5, JavaScript and SQLite. Think of it as Electron for PHP. It is a convenient tool for converting PHP web apps and PHP CLI tools to desktop applications with little effort. The development workflow you are used to while creating web applications remains the same, there is no new framework / API to learn. The process of turning an existing website into a desktop application is basically a matter of copying it to the directory. In a certain sense phpdesktop acts as a PHP to EXE compiler. It embeds a web browser, a multi-threaded web server and a PHP interpreter. All embedded into a single application, a portable folder that you can easily distribute to end-users by packing it to zip archive or by making an installer for your application. The web server embedded is a custom edition of Mongoose. -

This is a replacement to the older Wii U Homebrew App Store. To run this program, a Nintendo Switch with access to the Homebrew Menu is required. This can be done on most Switches manufactured before July 2018, for compatibility check your serial number at ismyswitchpatched. Download and extract the latest hb-appstore to sd:/switch/appstore/, and run "HB App Store" from within hbmenu. When you're done, you can press the Home or Minus buttons to exit. To run this program, a modded Wii U is required. There are work-in-progress ports to 3DS and Wii, with varying degrees of feature support. These can be compiled using the instructions below, but aren't yet ready to be used by most users. -

This project is about a futuristic style of human-computer interaction, where the user can visit almost everything simply by zooming in. It features a portable C++ toolkit API for developing such ZUIs, and it features the Eagle Mode application, which provides a virtual cosmos with plugin applications. The most important one is the professional file manager with its rich, scriptable command set. It integrates file viewers for most of the common file types, as well as an audio and video player. Furthermore, the virtual cosmos contains a chess game, a netwalk game, a 3D minesweeper game, a multi-function clock, a stock watchlist, some fractals, and a Linux kernel configurator in form of a kernel patch. -

This project is a KDAB R&D effort to create a standalone GUI for performance data. As the first goal, we want to provide a UI like KCachegrind around Linux perf. Looking ahead, we intend to support various other performance data formats under this umbrella. The main feature of the hotspot is visualizing a perf.data file graphically. The timeline allows filtering the results by time, process, or thread. The data views will update accordingly. You can also launch perf from the hotspot, to profile a newly started application, or to attach to an already running process(es). Building hotspot from a source gives you the latest and greatest, but you'll have to make sure all its dependencies are available. Most users should probably install a hotspot from the distro package manager or as an AppImage. -

Node canvas is a Cairo backed Canvas implementation for NodeJS
If you don't have a supported OS or processor architecture, or you use --build-from-source, the module will be compiled on your system. This requires several dependencies, including Cairo and Pango. Note that libgif/giflib, librsvg and libjpeg are optional and only required if you need GIF, SVG and JPEG support, respectively. Cairo v1.10.0 or later is required. This project is an implementation of the Web Canvas API and implements that API as closely as possible. For API documentation, please visit Mozilla Web Canvas API. (See Compatibility Status for the current API compliance.) All utility methods and non-standard APIs are documented. When MIME data is tracked, PDF canvases can embed JPEGs directly into the output, rather than re-encoding into PNG. This can drastically reduce filesize and speed up rendering. If working with a non-PDF canvas, image data must be tracked, otherwise the output will be junk.
